    We are locals that have really like Adolph's in the past. However, the last time we were there we ordered cheese fondue for 4 (as an entree). We were charged $90+, were not offered and did not receive salads as advertised and were given a basked of bread, 5 small potatoes and what looked like 1/2 an apple for dipping. Really? Adolph brought the potatoes and partial apple to the table and sure wasn't very friendly. There are too many good, friendly, honest restaurants in Park City for us to return to Adolph's. It was a very disappointing experience.

    I've been here a handful of times with a big group for celebratory dinners (birthdays, anniversaries and the likes). The ambiance is good, about as fancy as you'd want for a ski town. You definitely don't need to be too dressed up, but you'll want to get out of your ski pants for sure. I like that they hang up your coats for you so you don't have too much bulky stuff hanging off your chair when its snowing outside and you need to bundle up. The fondue is DELICIOUS and plenty for sharing. Honestly, it could be a meal in its self. They've got raclette as well, which you can't find just anywhere and is super satisfying on a cold night. I have no idea why this says its American food... I'd pin it closer to Swiss. Service has always been good for me, but definitely a bit pricey. If you're coming in a big group, you'll want to make a reservation, but they are very accommodating.

    Well, coming from Hawaii for my third visit to Park City, and this remains one of our favorite restaurants. I should add these observations first, howerver: We like to travel in the "shoulder season", early October. This means less people, and we go to places where there are fall colors. So I won't even attempt to imagine what this place must be filled with skiers. I'll tell you that in early October, and early in the evening, 6 or so, I took my wife, daughter, and grandson there and had our best meal during the two weeks we were there. We stay in timeshares, so tend to cook a lot and then splurge. At any rate we left our Marriot kitchen and celebrated our last night at Adolphs. Here we got some great service from a lady named Linda, who has worked there for 20 years. The place was mostly empty, we had a 2 for 1 coupon, and started with the wonderful fondue. This was our second visit this trip, and on our first trip we had seen an elderly table of four devour the fondue with avarice and pleasure. This was followed by salads, and the most tender steak one could ask for, cooked perfectly. I posted a pic. Linda did a great job with dinner; she was building fortresses made out of styrofoam cups for our 7 year old warrior in her spare time. I will say that on my previous visit I did not think the veal was all that great, the schnitzel a bit dry. I was glad I got the steak second time around. I guess it says a lot with all the restaurants in Park City, we came back here. I enjoyed it much more than our other experiences at places like Mustang, which I may review later on. All bets are off when the place is busy; I realize how lucky we were to have a mostly empty restaurant at the most empty time of the year, and exceptional wait staff. Still, we are planning our first ski vacation, and will risk it :). We don't have anything like this in Kona, so it was a fun place with all the ski stuff on the walls, as I grew up in Calif and skiied a lot around Tahoe in my college years, and enjoy all the memorabilia on the walls. Go early, share some fondue, and enjoy.

    Excellent food !! We had the raclette and elk medallions and the warm brownie with ice cream for dessert. Everything was tasty and service was excellent!

    We have gone to Adoph's for nearly two decades. Back in the day when the restaurant was on the Park City golf course, this was one happening place especially during World Cup. Since their move, Adolph's remains a treasure. Our girls are now in their 30's and still pick Adolphs as the FINALE DINNER each time we spend a week in Park City!!

    Adolph's is a legendary Pack City establishment I've been going there for 17 years and never a bad meal, I don't care what anyone says about this place!! This is the locals hangout and they are a picky crowd. The Rack of Lamb, Steak Diane, or any of the veal is wonderful these are the popular choices.desserts are to die for, and the Fondue best I've ever had for sure !!!! Adolph is a true chef and he and his team work hard to insure that the quality is always there. They are solid and dependable year in year out, there's a reason that Adolph has lasted so long in a town where restaurants fail on a regular basis. Give them a try, you'll be glad you did !!!

    Adolph's is a wonderful restaurant. With great food and fantastic service this place is a welcome change from the typical resort establishments. I like the fact that the owner is the chef. He is very hands on and he takes great pride in each and every serving that is prepared. And Adolph's has the best "Cheers bar" in all of Park City. Try the very amazing steak salad, and you will be back! Highly recommended.

    We were a party of six, on a busy Friday night during Sundance. So I was prepared for a wait, and an overworked kitchen. Instead, we got fast, courteous service with food prepared properly and served hot. The wine list is extensive. The meals we had included duck, a pasta special, steak - a mix of what was on the menu. Prices ranged from $18 to over $40 an entree, but more oriented to the higher end of the price spectrum. And for that price, you get a very plain house salad with somewhat bland dressing. You could give this restaurant a slightly higher rating, except that you're really paying more than you should, owing to the location and time of year.

    Went here while on a ski vacation in Park City. It was a Sunday night so it wasn't very busy and we were able to get a table right away. Service was good. They had a pretty good looking wine menu, but I usually just order one of the cheaper reds on the menu so I don't really know what "good" wine is. The salad and the bread that are included with the dinner were great. The house dressing is delicious and I wish I had asked what it was. I ordered a nightly special, a seafood pasta with crab, shrimp and salmon. It was very good and there was plenty of seafood in the portion. My boyfriend ordered the Wienerschnitzel. He enjoyed it a lot, but was a little jealous of my seafood pasta. The walls of the restaurant are covered with skiing memorabilia which gives it a neat look. I would have loved to try the fondue, maybe next time!

    If you are in town for Sundance and on the clock- this is not the place! We loved the bartender, Sweet Johnny, however he was left alone to serve food and tend the bar. He was not able to enter food orders electronically so had to leave the bar unattended every time a food order was placed- and again to pick up! There were times when more than 10 people were waiting to be served- a missed opportunity for Adolph! One gentleman with a party of 24 had to go to the bar himself to try to get drinks- apparently the dining room was short staffed also! The hostesses did not seem to care and stated that Adolph had gone home sick. Poor Sweet Johnny- I hope he makes it through the rest of the festival!!

    A throwback to another time and place but well worth a visit. The food is Old World and fantastic! The live music was a little overwhelming for the venue. Just go and enjoy great food without the pretense of other Park City eateries.

    I LOVED the food here. We started with the escargot appetizer, very delicious with the bread- just slightly over salted. I had the rack of lamb which was some of the BEST I've ever tasted. The outside was slightly crisp and the inside was extremely tender. The service is great and fast. Reservations HIGHLY recommended. My friend had the filet Mignon which was just as tender. Very delicious and high quality food. Great romantic spot if you're there with a special someone.

    Okay, so it's the local's place to hang out. Everyone knows everyone, so that's kind of nice. However, I think that Adolph has become somewhat complacent and the quality of the food is not as good as other places in town. The staff is not as pleasant as they could be, either; perhaps just used to having their jobs and not going that extra mile!

    Wish I could give 0 stars... We had a group in town for President's Weekend and were recommended to Adolph's for a nice dinner we planned in advance. Table for 9. The service was horrendous. The food was average. The management was ridiculous. Saturday reservation at 8pm. Seated at 8:45pm. This seemed like it was the first table the waiter ever served. Additionally to all of his screw-ups, he never apologized nor attempted to ensure we were satisfied. A few of the blunders: -The water pitchers on the table when we sat down were filled with a mixture of water/sprite. -He would forget our drink orders consistently, and often brought the wrong drinks. -He did the same thing with our food orders. -Brought out the wrong sides, forgot sides, etc. -While attempting to serve a plate in its place, reaching over the table the waiter shoved the plate in my friend's face. As my friend asked, "is it hot?" the waiter put the plate so close to my friend's face that he had to grab the plate, which turned out to be extremely hot (surprise). -The waiter kept calling us "dude" and saying "sweet," "ok bro," etc. We were a group of 28-35yr olds...Not disillusioned about this type of language in a ski town, but in one of the "nicer" restaurants in the area, we expected more. -After talking up the Veal Chop special, 6 of us ordered it, only for the waiter to come back 30 minutes later to let us know they only had 4 chops left ... on a Saturday??? Finally, one of the members of our group went to the manager to complain. Apparently the manager on duty was the owner's son. Great. After what seemed like a long conversation listing out the problems with our experience at the bar with the manager, my friend returned and let us know they were going to give us a gift certificate to apply to the bill. The bill was $560 and change. The gift certificate was for $25 - which was described as enough to cover "a round of drinks." Yea right ... $25/9 drinks = $2.77 drinks, and none of us ordered soda! What a joke. Lastly, the included gratuity was applied towards the entire bill - prior to deducting the generous $25 gift card. There was probably more, but you get the point. Adolph's is terrible - go anywhere else.

    Had a good burger here. Self-proclaimed best fries in town are over-rated. Seem to recall having a fantastic porterhouse here years ago. Wish you opened for lunch so one could pop in and out between screenings at Eccles!

    It's definitely not the Sundance price. This place is expensive all the time. But, in the context of Park City, where EVERYTHING is expensive, Adolph's really isn't that far out of line. My problem with it really was a couple things. The service was a little inattentive. They honestly didn't seem to pay that much attention to us, prior, during, and a little after ordering. The food was all well done, but the flavors just didn't seem to mesh all that well. My example would be the Elk filet. It was cooked pretty much perfectly, but it was paired with peach and honey and it all made for a weird mix. And it was noisy... the table behind us was yelling and all the background noise just seemed to get louder and louder. It's supposed to be some type of old-world Euro ski cabin type fare and ambiance. I guess it could fit into that, I've never been. Go and let me know if it is. I mean, it was a fun place to eat, and I had great company with friends, and we had just had a great day on the slopes, but the meal itself, when you put it all together could have been better in more than a few ways.

    I don't know if this is Sundance Price or if they are always this expensive but it is definitely not worth it!!! At least if the food was out of this world...I wouldn't have such a hard time swallowing...but with food that is just mediocre and price that are way out of the league...i don't know how they could have ppl in there....I guess that is probably why one of the reasons why we were able to get a reservation during the busy Sundance season, huh??? GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

    This place serves only the most delicious food! The cost is worth the experience. My boyfriend and I took some friends here and we all had a fabulous time and left with very full, happy bellies. I enjoyed the Veal Adolph...mushrooms in a cream sauce on top of veal....yum! Other dishes enjoyed by the group include- raclette, crab cakes, veal schnitzel, and steak Diane. We will be returning here soon!

    Ordered Wiener Schnitzel and was very disappointed The breading was terrible Wiener Schnitzel should be fried quickly in butter or oil. This might have been frozen. Service was good

    Been here numerous times. A great ace to dine with outstanding food and service. It can be a little pricey, but I only come to town once or twice a year. I make it a go-to place each time and haven't been disappointed.

    We have been visiting Park City every winter for the past 10 years. We have dined at most of the restaurants in the area and are never at a loss for choices. Adolphs is always one of our favorite meals and we go each year we come to town.

    Don't waste your time, extremely over priced and the food is tasteless. The apple strudel is supposed to be "best on the menu" although it certainly is not authentic apple strudel. Save your time and go to the montage, this place sucks

    This was our first time visiting this restaurant. Although it took them about 10 minutes to take our order, we didn't mind waiting because it was obvious how hard everyone was working. We ordered Cheese Fondue for 2 for $30. It came with house salad, fondue with bread and 4 kinds of veges (they usually serve potatoes only, but we requested a plate of steamed veges which was free), and chocolate fondue. Chocolate fondue was accompanied with fruits (peach, strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, apple, banana), and pieces of pound cake and brownie. The server was attentive and nice. it was a great deal and tasted very good!

    Had a party of 26 and they were able to accommodate the entire group at one table. It did make it a little tight in the restaurant, but we enjoyed our time there. Dinner was really good and so was the service.

    We visit here every time we are in town. The fondue is out of this world and the salad dressing not to be missed! The surly waitresses and Adolph are just icing on the cake! Full bar and always packed.

    Almost an off-season crowd, the restaurant nearly empty. Food and service was impeccable. After a fine bottle of Malbec, we decided on two appetizers and dinner for five. We presented several different questions on both the night specials and the regular menu and were pleasantly surprised with clearly knowledgable waitress who has been there forever. :) I personally decided on trying the elk medallions which was absolutely amazing and extremely well-prepared. Highly recommend.

    This restaurant was recommended to us by a local (we are tourists). We were unfortunately disappointed. Date of visit, 3/3/12, 8:15pm reservation. There were five of us. One ordered a Filet Oscar which was prepared properly, but skimpy on the shrimp (they use shrimp instead of crab for their Oscar). One of us ordered "Veal Adolph" which was delicious. I ordered the rack of lamb, which was also fine, but not spectacular. The other two ordered filet mignon, both cooked medium, and they came out to the table rare. Sent back, and came out again, same steaks, burned on the outside, and still rare/ bleeding. Sent back again, came back on the third try, pounded flat and finally cooked properly. Manager never came out to the table. When we asked for him, he came out and said "how is your evening tonight? You can have dessert on me" and walked away. We did not have the dessert. Three in our party wanted to substitute a Caesar salad instead of the house salad that comes with the entree and were charged $9.50 each for the substitution. A few dollars extra...fine...but 10 bucks? It's just lettuce! We are not high-maintenance complainers...just five women on a ski vacation trying to have a nice steak dinner. Think twice about this place if what you are looking for is a fine dining experience.

    We've been meaning to come here for years and now we really wish we had come sooner. The house salad with their own dressing was excellent. I had Veal Adolph and my wife had Wiener schnitzel - we both thought our choice was the best. Service was excellent. Wine by the glass was good and reasonably priced. Overall cost is toward the lower end for a restaurant of this quality in Park City.
